This unique textile is handmade in Mali with a special chevron design that has been transferred onto the cloth with a special mud that has been kept for a year.

This special cloth is traditionally called Bogolanfini. The process of making involves strips of cotton fabric being woven then sewn to form this larger cloth. The cloth is then soaked in mulch leaves.
